Haritha Karma Sena
🌿 Haritha Karma Sena 🌿
Haritha Karma Sena is a key component of sanitation and waste management activities in Avoly Grama Panchayat. Established in 2017 under the leadership of the Government of Kerala, Kudumbashree and Haritha Kerala Mission, this system collects non-biodegradable waste at regular intervals from households, commercial establishments, government offices and other institutions, scientifically segregates the collected waste, and hands it over for reuse and recycling. By ensuring the scientific management of non-biodegradable waste, including plastic, Haritha Karma Sena plays a crucial role in protecting the environment, maintaining public cleanliness, improving public health, and increasing public awareness about proper waste management. To achieve a clean and sustainable village, every household and institution should cooperate with this people's initiative by segregating waste at source, handing it over to Haritha Karma Sena, and paying the user fee regularly.
